Penguin 85th x National Literacy Trust
In collaboration with the National Literacy Trust, Penguin asked five much-loved artists and illustrators to dream up original prints themed around the transformative power of books and reading, to commemorate Penguin’s 85th birthday.
The future of reading and writing in the UK depends on the National Literacy Trust, who are facing an urgent funding crisis as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Support them by bringing these special edition prints into your home.
The prints will be available for purchase for 85 days from Penguin’s anniversary of 30th July, until 23rd October. At least £50 of each framed print and £20 of each unframed print will directly support the National Literacy Trust.

About National Literacy Trust, the charity we’re supporting
The National Literacy Trust is dedicated to improving the reading, writing, speaking and listening skills of those who need it most, giving them the best possible chance of success in school, work and life. They support schools and early years settings in communities where low levels of literacy and social mobility are seriously impacting people’s lives to deliver outstanding literacy provision, and campaign to make literacy a priority for politicians, businesses and parents. Literacy is a vital element of action against poverty and their work changes children’s lives.
